A Dog had to Die for me to get to Palenque

It's a sad statement to make, but the title of this post is true. For real. I didn't kill it, and I didn't have to make sure that someone somewhere would kill a dog just so I could get a ride from Flores, Guatemala, to Palenque, Mexico.
