No rum in the pharmacy
i suppose you were joking there... But I can still answer your question. Rum is popular in Cuba, rum is actually more available then water, but as far as we know not used as medicine. But in other cultures alcohol is used medicine. In Russia they have been known to use Vodka as medicine against all kinds of things. /Ake
