Those midnight flights are a killer, Thai Airways 12.30a.m. to Bangkok 8 1/2 hrs, then 4 1/2hr layover and then the Thai budget line Smile up to Mandalay which was only 1 hr 45 mins, all worked like clockwork Insider Journeys rep there to meet us and 14 others. Mandalay Resort etc.
So ...! You are off again ,& why not ? Go while you are able .... Yes ! Night flights are R.S. at times . Biggest problem ,Aussies being so far from tourist destinations , overseas . How lucky are you to only have 28 on tour . Country sounds good , enjoy all you do & see . Lovely to get your blog ,always interested in your travels , and what you do & see . Thoroughly enjoying Myanmar Norma, its the people who make it I think, so beautiful! Will talk when I get back Mum and Dad coming down for a couple of days over Xmas, so if Janet was free you could come over for lunch...will talk after the 12th December. love Glor xx
