Lutheran church. Largest church and tallest structure in Iceland. Its design was inspired by the basalt rock. Most noted for its observation tower and its organ (5,275 pipes). The statue in front was a gift from the U.S. of Leifur Eirksson the first European to discover America (1,000 AD...500 yrs before Columbus)
