We left New Zealand enjoying it's hottest day of the year so far (30 degrees) and with promise of a whole week of warm weather.... At the same time Japan had suffered an earthquake and tsunami, and the UK was being battered by Storm Angus... so it seems strangely calm to be in Singapore where today's temperaturea is 31 (at least), with about 80% humidity!
