Our tour guide, Rive, has managed to get us a large comfy G Adventures bus to take us to Ollantaytambo via the Scared Valley. Definitely a photo for the pool room Alan. You could not look happier or more content in my reckoning. Your longing to discover the delights of Peru seem to be paying off. What a great tour!
How fabulous that your tour includes the Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins, so that when you go to Machu Picchu, you'll be able to see it in the context of other Inca cities. I also love that they are helping the women of the small village to reprise traditional weaving and knitting--and good for you, for buying one of those great, warm hats--I love wearing mine to bed. And how great that you liked the Peruvian food--it's actually considered a great cuisine of the world. Congratulations on making it to South America!
