A perfect path! I love sweet, shady paths like this. So sorry you lost Astorga, a town I loved and stayed a month in as a hospitalera in a refugio when the temperature was around 38C. the ancient Roman wall (so impressive to those of us from the colonies), Gaudi's Bishop's Palace, the Gothic cathedral and the Chocolate Museum.
