A perfect path!
I love sweet, shady paths like this. So sorry you lost Astorga, a town I loved and stayed a month in as a hospitalera in a refugio when the temperature was around 38C. the ancient Roman wall (so impressive to those of us from the colonies), Gaudi's Bishop's Palace, the Gothic cathedral and the Chocolate Museum. Hope all is well. Buen Camino.
