The great country divide

Here you can observe the divide as seen from the air. There is at least a kilometre of desiccated land on either side of the barbed wire to prevent any contact between the North and South Korean people.

We spent May and June packing and preparing to vacate our apartment in Kaohsiung and leave Taiwan. What a fabulous 3 years we spent living in and learning about a different culture.
