Church of St Donatius, and famous tower of something

I have no idea who the Byzantines were, but the church on the left was built in their style. In the 9th century. This building is Zadar's most recognized symbol. It' basically one dome about 4 storeys high with a circular staircase aroung the outside. And it was built with at least two recycled columns from the old Roman forum.
