The Barrage Vauban, or Vauban Dam, was constructed under Louis XIV when Strasbourg was returned to France. It was integrated into the existing Medieval fortifications and now provides a viewing platform of the city for tourists.
A Little Bit of France December 30th 2006 Our last trip of 2006 is a journey motivated by the need to put miles on my new car. My husband and I just moved back to Florida, but we lived in Maryland from June 2008 until October 2009, and we lived in Heidelberg, Germany from June 2005 until June 2008.
