Shap to Kirkby Stephen
July 21st 2016 36 km walk today, mostly across moors, filled with heather. Undulating countryside and soft pastures to walk on - a recovery day for our feet! Funny circular stone formations, that no one really know what they represent - Kym suggested a sacrificial 1st husband site. Saw stoats playing in the stone walls.
