As a last minute addition to my itinerary, I visited the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington, Delaware this morning and I am so glad I did! My ultimate dream of meeting a red panda was realized in 2015 when my husband and I visited New Zealand's Auckland Zoo. I cannot describe the joy I felt in that moment, but it was so profound that, since then, I have been trying to find a way to devote a portion of my life to these amazing animals.
