Landed in cape town today after a 11 hour direct flight. It is far! I decided to take the bus, so thought I needed to exchange some money. There was a long line at the bank, and it was slow going. They told me they charge a fixed 164 Rand fee for exchange, which was like 4%. Bus was easy to take, though the lady there sold me one trip ticket at extra cost of 35 Rand. So two surprises already.
