Onslow to Broome

Split-arse journey from Onslow to Broome. Left Onslow at 5:40pm Monday (not far ahead of the sunset) and blasted through to Karratha where I had to stop and clean the bugs off the windscreen. Had intended to make it past Port Hedland (550km) before stopping, which would have put me about halfway to Broome, but the hoppers (kangaroos) and cattle were too thick both on and to the sides of the road. ... read more
