In July of 2011, we made the decision to leave our comfortable jobs in Northern California to see the world. We weren’t sure where we were going to go or how long we would be gone, but we wanted an adventure and we knew we could find it if we looked carefully enough. A Perfect Place in Any Season!
I so agree that Krakow is fabulous! I spent a couple of snowy weeks there over Christmas and New Year's when a colorful Christmas market drew bundled-up crowds to the huge square. It sounds as if the Polish people celebrate all the seasons in this incredibly beautiful and well-preserved medieval city. Your evocative words, lovely adventures and brilliant photos transported me back to this magical town. Pierogis forever!
