Great visit!
Sounds like a fantastic visit--how perfect that you missed the big snow storms that must have happened just after you left. I love it that the guy gave you free fries when he heard you were visitors--a proper welcome! I once spent a couple of weeks in DC--I'm a museum hound, so it was incredible. Love your creative photos of the Washington Monument, and the race for the Pope. Here in Bolivia, I've been out of wifi range, which will continue, but I'm so glad I got to see that you're enjoying your time in the US!

Great visit
We were very lucky. The weather could not have been more glorious during our stay. We love how welcoming people always were to us in the states, it had a real sense of hospitality to its visitors. We're currently in Peru (not always with the best connection either). We're hoping to enter Bolivia in about 10 days. You will have to let us know where you will be so we can meet up 😊
