Sunday 1st November 2015 We checked out of the apartment and flagged down a taxi at midday to take us 20 mins and £2.80 later to Chengdu East Railway station. Here we would board the train south to Guilin which would take 25 hours. Hello readers, we'll take this moment to introduce ourselves. We are Gemma, by day a fashion buyer and Chris a recruiter and live in London. We've always loved the idea of packing up and flying off to explore the world but never quite found the right time or opportunity to do so.
