At the market

It was from here that I purchased a hand carved dolphin. There was so much to choose from. One man had hand carved two fish heads separated by a hand carved chain about 70cm long. Each link was free to move, but there were no joins. It took him a month.

Doini Island is one of only a few privately owned islands in the region, and is located a little south east of Alotau which was our first port of call in PNG.
