Perfect timing!
You really got there at the peak of the season--excellent! I love the place names--Hurricane Pass, Corkscrew Gulch... and your photos are stunning as usual. Those Aspens are often called Quaking Aspen, the way they dance and glitter in the wind like golden coins. One of my favorite trees, which you've perfectly captured! Thanks for the treat!

Thanks Tara. Yellow Aspens are the highlight of Colorado fall along with stunning mountain landscape. I like the eye shapes they have in their stems. Before going to Colorado, I had wondered if the yellows of Aspen and greens of Pines will be good enough to justify a fall trip to Colorado! The views were picturesque all around even if the reds and oranges were missing from the landscape.
