The train chugs as it arrives at the station, the final stop after traversing the northeastern railway for almost 11 hours overnight. Sweet stillness
How lovely to linger in a languid land! The food looks yummy, the guesthouse gorgeous and how considerate that the tut-tut driver has images of tourist sites. Great idea to have a temple complex showing the stages of a person's life, but this is a pretty bizarre statue--maybe under every nightmare, there's a sweet dream? Looking forward to Laos with you.

Yeah, the whole park gives off a bizarre vibe, actually. But it's really peaceful and it just draws you in and you can spend a few hours just relishing the calmness of the place. Thanks! I really had fun in this trip. :)
