She'll island at Crystal River

A beautiful day on the Gulf today. We set out under overcast skies and a bit of lumpy seas which promised to settle down as the day progressed. The forecast was right, we had perfectly calm seas for the last 7 hours of our trip to Crystal River. We saw lots of flying fish scurrying across the water, they are really funny to see. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
