Arrived at Dog River Marina early in the morning after a restful night on the hook. This place offers a free night’s stay with a fuel fill up. they have everything one needs, we topped up our water, gout the laundry done and used their courtesy car to reprovision. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada.
