Anchored for the evening

We are anchored on the Tansas River near Mount Vernon Alabama. Had a busy day on the water with tow traffic but it was a short day. The weather is hot, the beer is cold so all is right with the world. Saw an otter and seeing more shore birds and the usual companions. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada.
