The Black Warrior continues to whind around

A short day today winding through the Black Warrior River. We had the waterway to ourselves with only one pleasure boat encountered and 2 tows. We have locked through with one pleasure boat this whole trip and that is 41 locks. Where is everybody, waiting out the hurricane season me thinks. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
