We have entered the Black Warrior River which is part of the Tenn-Tom Waterway. A fine day in the water after a good night's sleep. Lots of smoke on the water in the mornings as the nights are cool. We covered 69 miles today and only transited through one lock. This is pleasure boating at it's best. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada.
