The historic 1905 post office building

on Moncton St, Steveston's main street, was the original location of the Royal Bank, the village’s first bank. The building is also home to the village museum, which opened in 1979, & the tourist information centre.

The fishing village of Steveston is a historic salmon canning centre at the mouth of the South Arm of the Fraser River on the SW tip of Lulu Island in Richmond BC.
