Day 1 of our cruise trip began with an overnight hotel stay in Pearland, TX about 45 minutes from Galveston, TX which is where our Carnival Magic Cruise departed from. The prices for the hotels in Galveston were too high that is why we chose to stay there. This was our first time staying at Hampton Inn and it was a wonderful hotel with nice rooms and breakfast.
