Day # 38 July 16th 2015 135 kms travelled today. Left Tinopai after a morning wander, with a stop at Tokatoka to walk the Tokatoka Peak track. Alarm bells should have rung when there was a warning sign about it been a very slippery and dangerous walking track. We are a Rotorua kiwi couple heading off on our big motorhome adventure around NZ after a year in the planning. Leaving our jobs (Cheryl - Radiology Manager & Lance -Accountant) is scary but also exciting as we celebrate our midlife with no income and semi independent adult children.
Everyone knows we live in this amazing country and our plan is to explore NZ without timeframes, taking each day as it comes. Exploring all the places we have been past but never had time to stop and explore.
We haven’t been everywhere in NZ but it’s on their list!
