Day # 36 July 14th 2015 All by myself, don’t want to be……. That’s what our new neighbours thought when they arrived late last night at Tawharanui Regional Park Camp. We were parked up in a massive paddock all on our own until these guys decided to choose a parking spot as close as possible to us, with acres of alternative options. We are a Rotorua kiwi couple heading off on our big motorhome adventure around NZ after a year in the planning. Leaving our jobs (Cheryl - Radiology Manager & Lance -Accountant) is scary but also exciting as we celebrate our midlife with no income and semi independent adult children.
Everyone knows we live in this amazing country and our plan is to explore NZ without timeframes, taking each day as it comes. Exploring all the places we have been past but never had time to stop and explore.
We haven’t been everywhere in NZ but it’s on their list!
