Long Bay Coastal Walk

Beautiful start to the day in Takapuna. Blue sky with a calm sea and a few brave winter paddle boarders doing there stuff. Managed to catch up with a friend for a coffee at the Takapuna beach café. Ironically he had a family bach at Long Bay when he was a young lad......this is our next stop (Long Bay Regional Park). Not disappointed with this place. Hi We are a Rotorua kiwi couple heading off on our big motorhome adventure around NZ after a year in the planning. Leaving our jobs (Cheryl - Radiology Manager & Lance -Accountant) is scary but also exciting as we celebrate our midlife with no income and semi independent adult children.
