Today we went to Le Shuan (Happy Mountain) with Lu and her friend Qi (Chi). It's a 2 hour drive from Chengdu through Chines countryside. Field after field and small villages. Arrived in Le Shuan, which is a natural heritage site. The highlight is a huge Buddha carved out of the rock face that drops down to the river. The Buddha is over 400ft high.
