A big thank you to the Auckland ratepayers who I am sure have contributed to the success of the Auckland Botanic Gardens. This is a fairly impressive place for a relative young garden in world terms. Only opened to public in 1982 this 156 acre garden is well worth a visit. There is Free entry, so no excuse for everyone not to visit. We spent several hours here today.
