Day 9. Scott too ill with altitude sickness to venture out. Everyone else went to the Potala Palace in the centre of Lhasa. There were about 100 people dancing to Tibetan music outside the Palace. Potala Palace is situated at the centre of Lhasa and a vey impressive building. Steps zigzag'd up to the top, with good view over the city. The Palace was full of buddhas and Lamas.
