Day 17 - Anchorage, AK to Homer, AK 6/1/2015

Once again, a great nights sleep and great breakfast. We got off a little later than planned, as Jan's clock was set an hour earlier than it should have. While waiting, we watched some guy prancing around the RV park in his bikini speedo and pink crocs. First wildlife sighting of the day. The Cat Herder Gold Rush

The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired.
