Trail in Cliff

The man in the photo dug this trail out with his family, it sits halfway in a 100 meter cliff. One of the only ways down to the water he made his living guiding trekkers to the shore.

I present the dumb traveler award, I meet an old guy from Wisconsin on the Laos side of the Chinese border. It took 4.5 hours to travel 50km in the back of a cold rainy pickup truck, not a journey you would ever want to make twice.
