One of the many locks in the system to allow safe passage of shipping. Unfortunately we didn't get to see it in action.
After Tocumwal.....

Our first night away from Tocumwal was at a quiet little spot 5km out of Moama, on the NSW side of the Murray opposite Echuca. Houseboats and speedboats plied the calm waters until just on dark. The following afternoon saw us settled into a lovely little rest area at Leitchville.
