Eventually it had to happen. The third time is not always a charm. Good things come in threes…but not always. My initial reaction to our 3rd city in Europe wasn’t very good. Slow travel conquers all!
At first, I was so afraid you disliked one of my favorite cities. Like you, I stayed for a month in the low season, but since it was 17 years ago, I didn't face those terrible crowds. So sad to hear this, but so happy you adventurous travelers stayed long enough to find the "real" Prague of charming, ancient buildings, tranquil parks and fab towers with views. I visited where Mozart's Don Giovanni was written and heard another opera where it was premiered there, as well as lots of music in magical venues. Hope you get a taste of music before you leave. I'm so relieved that you loved this amazing city.

We often talk about how lucky we are to have enough time to find out what a place is like. We sometimes wonder how we travelled rapidly in our past. It seems like we would have missed so much. We have discovered the cheap trains and are getting out of town on day trips for our last week here but one of these nights we may go see Don Giovanni. The flyer keeps getting put on top of the pile. It might be one last treat before leaving. Thanks for following along, Tara! We really appreciate it...
