This spot Queen Victoria had a picnic when she visited. The lady's maids were so struck by the beauty that when the Queen arrived the picnic was not prepared and the Queen was extremely upset. They named the place then after the lady's maids.

This past weekend I traveled to Killarney and toured the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. The town of Killarney itself is a lovely town.
