I can see why this location provided you so much anticipation and excitement. Particularly loved this blog and photos. India is such a diverse country and it can cater to those who love cities and those who love to embrace the countryside. This seems like a perfect location. Glad you enjoyed your home stay. That certainly gives you an up close view of the daily life.

Thanks for your lovely comment Merry Jo! We always try and spend as much time in regional towns and rural villages as we do in cities... and as much as I love cities, I always feel that I get a better feel for a country when we spend time in little villages.
