Cold Country, Hot Sun

Morocco has an odd reputation as being a cold country which it most definitely is in January. It was especially cold high up at 3,200 meters in the Atlas Mountains at the Refuge de Mouflons where I spent the night before my summit attempt of Jbel Toubkal at 4,167 meters and subsequent grueling return hike to Imlil.
