Dusty ruins (oh and one not so dusty ruin)
December 15th 2014 You could say I have been taking a tour through the ages the last ten days in Peru. Or you could say I have been visiting a lot of dusty ruins, ranging from those barely distinguishable from a heap of sand, to the non-dusty Kuelap. So, if you are not interested in ruins and the like, it is best to skip this blog and concentrate on something more useful.

Juicy blog!
I love history and archaeology, so this was delicious. So trippy that many Westerners just think of the Inca here when there was so much more. Caral is now included in modern histories as one of the cradles of civilization, which is pretty cool. I love the ceramics of the Moche and Chimu, photos of the Lord of Sipan's bling, and those great round, cloud forest structures at Keulap. Good for you for visiting all these great places, soaking yourself in Peru's history. I can hardly wait to follow your lead.
