October 8th - Tadopani (2630m) to Ghandruk (1940m) - descent of 690m We left Tadopani this morning knowing we had an easy, pretty much all down hill trek, to the lovely Ghurung viallage of Ghandruk. Finally after another long countdown, the three of us, as a family, are heading back to Nepal! This year we'll be trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp. Gav and I have trekked this route before however, it will be Mia's first time on this path, but her 2nd Nepal trek after doing the Poon Hill trek a couple of years ago. Thanks to our gorgeous friends, we'll also be visiting a couple of children's homes to drop off great quality 2nd hand clothing to help the less fortunate kids.
