Hard to capture the enormity of the Reclining Buddha, but certainly one of the more impressive things seen on this trip...highly recommend it...

Love these silver linings!
So, the Temple of the Golden Buddha houses a previously stucco Buddha, who turned out to be gold. And you are going to Myanmar, but happened on Bangkok with its great temples, Buddhas, boxing and beer. Hope these magical surprises follow you into Burma.
