What a fantastic leaf-peeping tour! I'm going to follow your tour when I return to the US--love your leaf and restaurant recommendations! I'm glad you found a Trader Joe's--they have great European (Stilton cheese, etc) foods as well as pretty economical tipples. Pretty interesting that the Pilgrims were first in Cape Cod, now such a pricey destination. I'll bet their descendents are sad they didn't stay. Looking forward to what American myths you dig up in Philly.
