Day 21, 15th October 2014: Villar de Marzarefe to Astorga, 32 kms
October 15th 2014 This morning we woke to rain at 6am. Sue was catching the bus back to Leon and transferring to another going to Astorga. Total cost, 4.6 Euros. Tim and I set off in the light drizzle with a headlamp on. It was dark until about 8.15 but we were on a minor road so the surface was good. So glad you toured Gaudi's Bishop's Palace and enjoyed Astorga! Sounds as if my old albergue near the cathedral has suffered since I was there--and no salt water fountain--sorry about that. Glad Sue's feet are better, and she can join you in walking. Buen camino!
