A Pandanas Basket

This gorgeous basket is made using traditional methods, which means the prickly pandanas leaves have to be collected, the fibres stripped from the middle, then coloured with natural dyes using plant seeds, leaves, roots and some minerals. They are then woven into these lovely designs.
