We had a rather late sandwich lunch at a picnic table under some trees in the gardens watching the birds as usual. Ros and Arthur came past as we were packing up and we said goodbye. I am a mature (aged anyway!) woman, married with 2 children, a daughter, now 29, who is living in England, and a son who is 25. I was an English language and literacy teacher in a community centre in Melbourne, where I live but am now sort of retired (temporarily at present).
