And so my time here in Jinotepe comes to an end. In nine weeks this community has truly become a home to me. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Delana has temporarily relocated to the opposite side of the country and is currently a rising junior studying Neuroscience and pre-medicine at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. Delana first fed her passions for travel and helping people during a gap year spent venturing through South America and Africa, volunteering along the way.
