Bundaberg to Rockhampton in Five and a Half Hours July 19th 2014 We left Bundaberg before 10 am and headed straight out towards Gin-Gin to pick up the Bruce Highway. The first leg was into wind and so hard going but it all went quite easily from there. We passed through a small community, we think it was Bullyard, that had a local market on and Barry stopped. I am a mature (aged anyway!) woman, married with 2 children, a daughter, now 29, who is living in England, and a son who is 25. I was an English language and literacy teacher in a community centre in Melbourne, where I live but am now sort of retired (temporarily at present). I originally came from England, where I met my Aussie husband and then moved to Australia to marry and raise my family.
