The Siberian (or Amur) tiger is the largest tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) in the world. They live in Eastern Russia, and can also be found in parts of China and North Korea. The Amur tiger can grow to all eleven feet long, and weigh up to 660 pounds. Only 400 to 500 tigers remain in the world, though they remain stable but endangered.
